Arkansas Medical Marijuana Cards Officially Take Effect
POCOLA, Okla. — Medical marijuana cards went into effect on Friday in Arkansas.
But card or not, the nearly 7,000 approved patients still don’t have anywhere to buy it in Arkansas.
That’s not the case in Oklahoma.
You can’t buy medical marijuana in Arkansas, but you can in Oklahoma.
But patients do need an Oklahoma temporary medical license to do so.
First you have to apply for it and wait at least 14 days to get it.
It costs 0 for 30 days and is renewable.
But remember there is a federal law that states you can’t cross the state line with the drug.
Medical marijuana is expected to start selling in Arkanas in April.
