Colorado widow denied husband's insurance compensation over marijuana
A Colorado widow is battling her late husband’s insurance company. Adam Lee died in December while working at a Colorado ski mountain. The insurance company reduced his worker compensation when it learned he had pot in his system at the time of his death. Colorado is one of nine states and D.C. that allows recreational marijuana use. Barry Petersen reports.

  1. Very sad. Were his little kids tested? Pot smokers, cigarette smokers, vape smokers, smoke around their pets and kids all day and think nothing of it. That's my only objection to anyone smoking.
    He worked a dangerous job. His little kids shouldn't be punished.

I am so sorry to this Widow I know how workman's comp is pinnacle is the biggest workman's comp insurance in Colorado in fact the only one and they are really trash go look at the stories by Tony kowalewski he was trying to show how Ken Ross is he is the CEO of pinnacle the head POS Colorado needs to wake up I feel sorry for anybody who has a workman's comp claim trust me they will be watching you if they were watching my husband who was severely injured had to be put back together and they stalked us they were at our house at 6 in the morning till 8 at night even on weekends I am not kidding you I can prove all of this I know what I know and I feel sorry for this woman talk about kicking you while you're down I am so sorry to this wife and all of Colorado should be angry just be careful don't get hurt at work cuz I promise you they will follow you and do whatever they can not to pay a claim

  4. Sue the pants off of that company. This is something people should be protesting and boycotting…or is that just reserved for companies that advertise with people that hurt our feelings?

  5. This is why you don't pey for life insurance they will aways try to avoid paying you back it's a scam
